About the Paarl School of Aikido (PSA)

Founded in 1997 by Elroy Goliath Sensei (3rd Dan), the PSA is affiliated to Aikido South Africa and proudly aligns with and takes its technical direction from Hombu Shihan Yoji Fujimoto (7th Dan).

The PSA dedicates itself to raising and maintaining the quality and standard of Aikido teaching in South Africa at its highest level, and on par with the best in the world.

Goliath Sensei emphasizes strong and dynamic aikido technique and a clear and systematic teaching methodology approachable to students of all levels.

Goliath Sensei’s personal vision is to use aikido as vehicle for self-cultivation and leadership among all people in South Africa, at its core driving transformation by upliftment of disadvantaged communities and its youth.
